How to increase more traffice for online store

Hi All,

I am new to here!!! please correct me if I have jump into right area for discuss below topic.

I have recently set up my online store for selling some electronic products, however, the traffic is under my expectation, expecting whether my product is price attraction nor my website layout or design is fancy or not.

Other than those issues, how can I get more traffic for my online store.

I have done several thing to promoting my online store as below:-

Adsword:-
I have done google adsword, I have put relevant keyword related to my product, even phase etc., however, I have use other friends computer to test my ads by type relative keyword, but I cant see my ads show (Google has approved my ads)

EDM:-
I have send out tonnes of email with promotion offer as random, is it negative action?

Social Media:-
I have had setup my fan page in Facebook and Twitter, the current fan page people who click "LIKE" is around 20-35 people, what else should I do to maximum the social network

Last thing I am plan to do, but I don't know if it is working.

Planning:-
I am planning invite some blogger to write more article and make more wordpress about my website to get my online have more expose, but I am still seeking a right platform and person to do it.

My monthly target is to get 2000 transaction for my online store, I don't whether is sound crazy, but I suppose there must a way to do it and can do it

Please leave some advise to help me improve my business.

Well, building backlinks will definitely get you higher on google for your keywords.

1. First a design that carries trust
2. Carry products from interest and write unique category and product descriptions.
3. Install and setup everything for A/B / multivariation tests
4. Pull traffic through Adwords for one month with decent targeted campaigns for one month minimum
5. Make the changes to your website elements that did convert, also make sure to eliminate bottlenecks and realize a onepage-checkout for example. Also analyze your GA for the exit pages to find out where you loos conversions.
6. Look through your adwords/analytics accounts which keywords did convert best.
7. Start building backlinks to push these keywords for the organic results.

- Have you set up an auto-responder (so the registered users may come back more often)?
- I can confirm that you need backlinks so that mean contents....
- You need to wear black and white hat....
- Read more topics in the forum and stick to one winning method (i have not found my own one yet but it seems to be content writting + backlink on facebook + twitter).

Build links, post relevant blog comments (this is huge).

try to use facebook ads that targeted people who interested with your product. Asking someone review your website. especially the authority in your industry.

Social media is how I made all my first sales. Twitter and Facebook are your friends.

for increasing more backlink for online store, you should make good and quality comments on the online store blog, build link where you can promote your site and product. and social networking site can help you in this alot. give some offers for making product popular.

I have done keep analysis my adwords, i think it is very useful, but is it good enough by just using adwords in google, should I try other services such as "webseo" as well

also, how should I building up more backlinks, I do not have any experience with backlinks.

is that mean, i have to keep writing different blog about my product and website and make the web-link to my website

Try write some very good articles on Squidoo, Hubpages, create magazin on Zeen, pictures on Pinterest and spreed it all over the social networks as well

Try to find top 3 forums on your subject and post there some useful tips. Put link to your site in the signature.
It takes some time, but it pays. You can always outsource.

Run sweepstakes contests like save and win or offer free gifts on every purchase. Try Facebook ads (You can find free coupons online to initialize) for promotion.

I would Recommend that You try to submit to Google Base Now called Google Merchant center for feeds.
If you use Wordpress some plugins can Help.
While you are Building Backlinks as these other Gentlemen suggest, I recommend setting up a new PPC Campaign in the Short term.

blog comment has minimal value nowdays. you should start using social networks/bookmarks/articles

There are several ways of getting traffic. It's just you need to get creative with it while you're deciding which type of traffic you want. Like the best traffic for your site would be of people looking for your products. Bringing useless traffic to your site won't help you at all, and it'll just waste your time + Your Efforts + Your Resources.

So, first make sure which kind of traffic your require and then try to think that how you'll be able to drive it to your site.

Try to make the most of your existing customers. Use email marketing to keep in touch, get them back for more deals and have them talking about you. This will help get the words out there and more importantly, increase your sales directly.
