How to increase monetized views

I just started started working with youtube adsense and im starting to get views consistently, but i noticed that like only 30% of the views are monetized.

Is there anyway to increase the amount of monetized views, at this rate you would have to get like 5 million views just to make 2,000 on youtube with adsense.

Does the lenght of the video play a part in the amount of monetized views you get? The videos im uploading right now average between 1 - 2 min long, should i start uploading longer videos?

yea i know, but will this increase the amount of ads shown for my videos from 30% to atleast 50%?

depends on your audience tbh, (ad block, how much of video they watch etc) ideally this should increase since you can put non skippable ad in a convenient spot

they watch about 55% of the video on average og my 1- 2 min vids
