Backlinks from sites with high domain authority would in turn increase your DA. It's the same as it has always been.
I'm sure you mean the moz metric and not necessarily Google's version of it.

Domain Authority can be improved by creating as many as backlinks you want. You need to get some backlinks from the PBN's that have good Domain authority. Key note is to get the backlinks from the domain authority higher from your current DA.
