One of the best ways to boost CTR is to paginate your posts.
Many people have problems with this because some claim it gets in the way of user experience.
But it all boils down to how you "lead on" the reader.
If you're just going to abruptly cut a one-page post into ten pages with no rhyme or reason between the pages, then yes.
Whoever is unlucky enough to read your content will have a lousy time.
But if you treat the "next page" link as a copywriting assignment, you can creatively come up with a call to action that makes the reader want to read more of your content.
You also have to plan out your content brief, so you don't give everything away at the top.
Whatever topic you are tackling, break it down into bits and pieces that are an inch wide but miles deep.
And make sure to use active headings on each page that builds up interest while delivering enough information to make the reader believe that they're not wasting their time.
I know that this involves walking a tight rope between instantly giving information and holding back.
But there is a happy middle ground.
The key is to get them to keep clicking to the next page because for every page view you get, you get another shot at getting that ad click.
