Alexa ranking is based on the number people who visit your site using the Alexa toolbar. The ranking doesn't really matter. Install all Alexa extension on all the browsers you use and drive real traffic to the site. Not much more than you can do.
 
Best way: Get more traffic. There are plenty of ways to do it, just read around the forums.
Easiest way: Purchase an Alexa rank service. I think I saw one or two in the BST section.
 
Just drive more traffic to your site and you should see your rankings climb back up again.
 
You can buy junk and useless traffic which is $5 at 10,000 visitors. This will surely help.
 
With more traffic, you will get a better Alexa ranking, that's it.
 
I don't know whether it will great suggestion but still I want to mention here.
Use traffic exchange websites such as hitlap, linkcollider for free traffic.
 
Install alexa toolbar.

Figure out how to get more people with the alexa toolbar visiting your site.

Traffic exchanges could work depending on who the traffic is. If none of them have the toolbar then its pointless.
 
Natural way, you get more traffic => your alexa ranking increasing. Also there are lot of alexa ranking services around
 
I agree with what many have written above here: the more traffic you get, the lower your Alexa rank will be. I'm not sure why you're so focused on Alexa, because it sound like a narrow approach to me. Ultimately, you need traffic that converts. Once you get that, you heat your business goal - and it looks like Alexa doesn't matter in this case.
 
Get some PLR ebook content, software, videos, etc on hot/high demand topics, and put free download links (with or without opt-in) on your site, then advertise the url to that page on lots of niche forums, freebie sites and directories.
 
First of all you must have to clarify that your Google ranking is stable or down. If it is down then it is most likely that you are using black hat method or not following Google policies in building backlinks. You must do work on relevant websites and remove all the bad backlinks for obtaining ranking in Google and Alexa. Alexa ranking is depend upon visitors and for capturing visitors you must have ads and relevant links.

You could purchase some cheap fake traffic to boost up your Alexa rank. There are lots of people selling traffic in BST section, you can chcek it out.

But it would eventually drop once again if you stop purchasing it regularly. Hence the best way is to do proper SEO and get natural visitors.

Does anyone know where I can get the best traffic to boost my Alexa ranking too? I don't want to waste time or money on something that isn't going to work so I thought someone here would know of a good one.
