I have no ideas what niche you are in, but one thing is common for all the websites is to build great links. You need to invest in contet and outreach.

Choose easy keywords, use high TF and High PA links , plus tier links.
Do basic on page, use meta seo plugin , wp chache and optimize using similar plugins.

How about BlackHat way ? 
1) generate Google Search Token ID for your website you can take that via CSE API or there are online services who does that make sure your website is index in google search results.
2) Create Meta redirect 1s with that url on index.html and push users to index.php
Within few days or weeks google just sees your traffic is coming from google search and it will boost your search results + more traffic = Earnings...

that is my personal way to do things you can simply follow the method i gave if you want to avoid all those headache simply send me your url i will send you google url
