How to improve website authority score in Semrush?

Hi,
I want to know how to improve the authority score of a website in Semrush?
I created some backlinks for my website, but its score is still 0.
Is this score only related to backlinks? Or is there something else that affects it?

if you highlight the letter I next to it, it does tell you, but its backlinks, readability, keywords, searchability, etc. pretty much everything summed up into one.
so for example:

thats one of my sites stats.
now if i look at some page errors, backlinks, visibility, etc ill find that i do have some toxic backlinks i need to get rid of. ill also notice that i have quite a few 404 and duplicate tags i need to sort out.
each step will raise my authority, but also like coding, fixing one thing means losing focus on another.
so currently your working on backlinks. focus on that. once you believe youre done, jump onto the next, then the next. dont do what i do and try and juggle everything at once.

oh and just to add.
if youre score is zero, you probably havent got your site indexed with GSC or BSC(yandex, baidu, etc) yet and have missed some basic SEO work. i dont know what kind of site youre running but check ur robots and sitemap.

Try working on your Link Diversity with quality content along with it check work on your Brand Mentions and Social Signals these will help you
 
Make great content that gets natural links and traffic. Over time, your Semrush score will rise. Think quality over quantity for backlinks.
 
Backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites carry more weight. You can optimize your website's on-page elements for relevant keywords.
 
May I know the reason Why do you want to increase Semrush Score , it is just a score derived by Semrush ...If your keywords

are Ranking good and You get Good Number of Traffic ,That would be good for your site...
 
I own a website more than 2 years in a niche, the website authority in MOZ and Ahrefs are higher than no.1 ranked website on google, while semrush rank is lower. Is that the reason my site is not ranking over competitors?

Your site has probably not been indexed yet. The score is usually correlated to your backlinks and content.
 
Make extraordinary substance that gets regular connections and traffic.
 
While Semrush started as a measure of a site’s backlink profile, it now considers other factors besides for backlinks like organic traffic and spam factors. If you have low organic traffic you will not have high score even with backlinks.
 
I think you should look forward to your backlinks, some quallity backlinks will raise your score.

Wow! How did you get so many organic keywords? I am very open to advice and/or having a discussion because I have paid for a ton of backlinks over the years and now I am broke...haha...but my darm site would not get above 400 keywords and it frustrates me because my website visibility is low. If I can even get above 1000 keywords I feel like that would change my life.
 
you can procure backlinks from reputable websites in relevant niche or try adding good quality content in your site

index good backlinks to your site , if you had created the links crawled them to semrush authority would increase .
