How to improve my website and visits ?

Hi All,

I am running recipe niche website called www.hemmingwaysfood.com since last 2 months now getting average 10-12 visits per day, site having pr4. I put around 30 articles for different recipes and got some keywords on top 10 too. I thinking I got keywords which are low competition with low searches.

I got 2-3 clicks on my adsense ad and shocked just got $0.10 or $0.20 per click thought could be get $1 or more per click.

Anyone can suggest me how I improve $ per click ? What is the proceed ?

Are you using any other method then SEO to drive traffic? Have you tried the Pinterest method?

From where are visitors coming from . Adsense won't pay same for US and non US visitors

I am using pinterest, facebook, google+, twitter but now much followers yet

Mostly visitors coming from India. I got 2-3 clicks I remembered 1 click from india - $0.12 something and from USA $0.23 something

I targeted USA country.

Tip 1 - Don't share your URL in public, now if someone wants they can easily negative SEO your URL and you might never rank in search engines.

Secondly, the USA CPC is really low in your niche, I have cooking related website and it has CPC around $1+ for american clicks. Asian clicks are just like that they hardly exceed 20 cents per click.

Third, social media is best way to promote food related websites so you are doing fine there.

Fourth - try creating some quality backlinks for your main keywords and you will start receiving lots of traffic within few weeks.

Use social media to drive traffic. when you get more traffic you will get more click & you payout automatically increase.

hi,

do you dont have adsense in your posts, just the homepage and footer... have you tried to insert the ads in the midle of posts?
maybe can increase the clicks...

pinterest is really good for this particular niche. just improve your photography and graphic images
and join group boards, it's a big plus

I have adsense in my post but in footer... my major problem is getting very low cpc from USA too

why ???

You shoud choose the adwords display and remarketing adwords to maximize the CTR and boost the traffic, I try this way and get tons of traffic with cheap price as I setup the default max CPC just lower than 1 cent.
