how to improve a travel blog?

hi all! this is my first post here.
I have a little blog about travel and destination, no booking for similar, just news. Now I have 200 articles (more or less) but the organic traffic is very low (10 x week). I used backlink, SEO plugins but nothing... I can't understand where I wrong D:
Somene have any ideas about improve my blog? many thx guys <3
 
Advertise on BHW
with travel blogs you have to be present on social media. invest in some diversity links, go with guest posts and pay some campaigns on facebook
 
You need to target keywords, If you got 200 articles and you are still not getting enough traffic, there must be something wrong with your keyword targeting or links. Plus you need to interlink your content for keywords.
 
Impossible to give a reliable answer to your question.
Improving your site goes from keyword research to on site-off site SEO.
UX - site speed, etc.
You'll need a professional site evaluation to make it right.

actually I should work more with social networks but there are few that make you insert external links and facebook becomes more and more expensive

200 travel blog posts?! how many of them competing with each other for similar keywords?

probabilmente nessuno, cerco sempre di stare attento. Leggo spesso su questo forum e cerco di applicare quello che posso
 
What are the destinations you are covering? Are your blog posts give useful and updated info? Do you have original pictures? YOu just get have some traffic with only one blog post if it is done right (keyword research)

mostly places that I have visited or are inspired by the stories of colleagues. the information is always useful and updated. the photos are either taken by me or taken from pixabay
 
Improving your blog pertains to the contents, hosting (speed, etc) of your blog. Traffic pertains to promoting your blog. So, you want to improve your blog or drive traffic to your blog OR both ?

This is not normal then. I would suggest to do more research about keywords. Your onpage SEO might be off as well.
 
It must be because of high competition keyword, you need to increase your website authority
 
Are you appearing on Google, how's your keywords ranking? I've got one site where I was only ranked on Bing and Yahoo and never on Google. Your SEO is bad, I also see you've got 4.4k backlinks? Are you sure you don't have spammy BLs?

For the BL I used to buy some thought fiverr and I tried SEO autopilot for 1 month.
 
Low quality backlinks seems the case for your site or bad onpage if your semrush information correct
