Theres a LOT of different link building services out there. Some for money sites, other for web 2.0 and some others that might just be bad value for money overall.

When navigating the market place for high quality links, it is hard to know which one to go for. Some services are great, others not so much. Quite often you can see a service that you know is designed for linking to web 2.0 sites but they are advertised as the best links money can by. Ordering by popular etc. is always good, but i think we all know that things like this can be inflated.

Without naming any specific service, what are some of the signals to look for in a genuine link builing service that is worth purchasing for a money site.

I generally take the price as the first sign. A high tier link wheel from a PBN for $15 is a clear sign that it isnt going to be high quality. Overall I find it difficult though. Through trial and error, I have found some great services here, but I would love to hear some tricks and tips that people use to try and filter the good services from the bad.

You already listed down few signals from your end. It's really hard to identify which one is good or bad. You have to check a few one based on your requirements.

Sometimes a "good service" is temporal when the price is competitive , through trial and error works for me.

It really depends on one's use. One may find this particular service reliable while another may not. What's best is to check the most ranked service and if you can, give them a try yourself and decide.
