How to hide redirects?

I have some misspellings of domain names that generate quite some traffic. I have tried redirecting them to different affiliate programs and have earned quite some $$$ through them. However, if they find out I do that, they will close my affiliate accounts.

Is there a way to hide the redirects, or at least make it very hard for them to find out that I am sending them traffic that way? Right now, I am redirecting them through a legit webpage. However, if they check all the backlinks in Ahrefs/Semrush they will see that the backlinks are from misspelled domain names of that specific brand name that I am earning money from.

Any ideas of what to do?

Try one thing - do the redirects to review articles for the same products. I am sure conversions will be lower but it will be way safer.
 
Cant hide try using over the subpages , it would not affect that more !
 
301 to a twitter short link and make sure the profile and posts look legit and have followers. Create tweet promoting the site, and get some fake retweets and likes. Traffic will seem to come from that tweet.

So far I am using multiple 301s (2-3) over different domains in order to at least make it a bit harder for them to see where the traffic is originating from.

Interesting with a Tweet. But what is the actual difference from just bouncing it through a "review page" that I am doing now? They could still check the backlinks from a tweet in Ahrefs/SEMrush?

In the past to combat things like this I have created a legitimate site that affiliate networks are happy with but the links from that site go through a custom redirect from the same site, instead of a direct link.

Then i redirected my hidden traffic to the custom redirect.

At first glance it will look like the traffic then all comes from the legit site. So...

Legitsite.com -> legitsite.com/redirect -> affiliate offer page.

Misspelling.com -> legitsite.com/redirect -> affiliate offer page.

Ahh, your going through a middle page. Make sure to block link stat sites through htaccess, as you would to hide a PBN. 301 >> Review page with htaccess blocked >> bitly >> twitter

Yep, this is what I am doing atm, but if they do a backlink analysis, they will see that I am 302/301 the misspelled domains to that page.

Sweet! This sounds very interesting! I have never thought that you can block them out. Is there a complete list of all the most common SEO spiders to block? Thanks a lot for this suggestion!
 
Also, if I would block all the seo crawlers right now. Would my page still show up in Ahrefs/SEMrush etc because they have already crawled my backlinks?

There are several tricks both browser and server based but none are bullet proof and each have their flaws.

A browser based solution, for example, is to leverage the referer policy but not all browsers support it and of course neither do bots
