How to handle the money you make?

you still have to register in the UK as self employed even if you are earning under £10,000 as the taxman wants to know anyway. i know people who earn under 10,00 and still had to register. workig from home depends on the type of business, if you are in IM then you have a laptop and mobile phone it doesn't apply as you are using the cloud, so you can work anywhere where there is a signal / connection.

Sounds good to pay the taxes.

I think I'll skip the whole point with overseas account. I would rather pay the taxes and VAT instead of getting busted tbh.

If your from uk ,your get taxed 40% of your total income , that becouse your earning over 50.000 per year.

I'm from a 3rd world country, Argentina. Anyone is from here? I need help to declare my IM earnings, i'm earning over 10k per month and i don't even know how to pay the tax.

Oh wow - you'd better get that sorted. I don't know how it works in Argentina, but you're going to pop up on at least ONE other persons tax return.

You might be self employed but you only pay for. Your ni no tax if you earn under 10.000 in that year.

You always pay for your national insurance stamp weekly , monthly, quaterly, yearly....

If you work from home you must report to council it on everybodys rent agrement.

Also when you receive post it can come in your self employed registered name .

Most self employed people use there own name and not a business name.

But you can if you want to, that if your also consulted your local councel running a business from home.

yes i didn't say any different, i was pointing out you still have to register for tax, that's what your return is for. if you earn under they won't ask for money. you'd also get help with NI as you'd be classed as low income, you may not even have to pay for that reason. it would show on the return. you still have to register though, otherwise they don't know if you earn £1 or £1,000,000.

Seems to be in Sweden you can only earn about 2300$ without paying taxes....

Well.. I wish It was like that.. But im not sure. In my country they are pretty steady/hard with the taxes/VAT. I'm from Sweden.

Would be nice to see how people from this forum actually solve this problems?
If your earning 100.000 every year surly you no you got to pay tax.

In your case ill get a accountant and get that tax paid including the backdate you owe.

That the only way your not get in trouble buy paying for what you have earned .

Come on that a million pound every 10 years surly you no you have to pay no matter what.

If you get vat registered it allows you to claim back any tax you are charged from any business bill/self employment bill, wholesale bills .

So what your tax % in sweden?

And is there any uper limits if your money over a certain amount.

They are about 30% from start and goes up to atleast 50%?
As you see I started this thread so I don't know really.

I was starting the thread in hope that cash you earn on the web is not "generated" someone and not in a specific country and therefo you did not have to pay taxes..
So suspicious nobody else is asking or talking about this..

You pay 25%

But if you earn 55.000 you add 35%

Thanks.. Now I completly feel like I'm google-handicaped! ;)

Nah.. I could get this information, thanks! But I opened this thread because I can't see anyone else asking about taxes and VAT. Do you think its because they already now how to do? Or they dont care? Or why do you think this topic is rarely spoken of in here?

Thanks,

Any reason why you will be using Ordoro with shopify? whats the benefit?

No, it's because people hire acountants and they do all these things. Also tax systems between countries are very different to the point that nobody can consult you. For example I see UK's system is completely differnet than the one in most EU countries, while Swedish system sounds like real socialism to me. US is completely different as well. One thing is sure, if you have a country with strict laws, a civilized country at least for now, go and consult an accountant, otherwise it could turn bad. Please don't be stupid, you shouldn't care why others are not discussing it, it is not part of the internet marketing area anyway, it is part of the legal theme which is not actually our job. Also I see more and more people explaining their country's systems and think they are the center of the world while the reality is very different. Go to a real physical Swedish accountant, pay him money for an advice, forget about forums!

Odoro seems like a great plug-in for Shopify. But I haven't tried it. Have you?

I wasen't asking people to give tips how to break the law lol.
I was asking what are the rules for taxes and VAT when making cash thru IM.. Like if it was same rules for everyone or by country.

someone from your country will probbly give you the best answer .
For Ogads , i think they ask you to submit an Electronic tax form when you sign-up , you'll need an IRS from your country however its name in order to submit the tax form and receive your earnings .
For Dropshipping , just register a Paypal account in a country where no one care about paypal footprint or something . Philippines as example , and to withdraw money use an Online VISA debit card , MyChoice for example , & then you don't have to worry , if you wanna start accepting 2CO or stripe as payment method for your dropshipping project , then you need to have a registred company , and i think an offshore company will do the job .
Best regards .
