Hello everybody,

I'm new in content marketing / blog writing/ affiliate marketing.

I don't really understand how should i handle subscribers.

What should i send them?

How often?

When should i stop sending them emails?

These are the questions i have in mind right now.

I would appreciate any help i can take.

Try to put yourself in the shoes of your subscribers.
Who is interested in your content? What does their day look like? What are their interests and challenges?

Often we target people who are similar to ourselves, and then those questions are easy to answer.
Otherwise we'll have to do some intense research. Find out what you can about these people, so you can see the world from their perspective.

Now all that's left to do is ask yourself:
1. "If I was one of my subscribers, what would I expect/want to receive?"
2. "If I was one of my subscribers, what would I be likely to buy?"

Always start out with the first type of email: send them free things that are valuable to them.
Links to interesting articles, free ebooks, good videos etc. - anything they would be happy to get.

Then around the 3rd email you can start adding something from the second category: things they might be interested in buying.
That's how you earn money. Find products that are relevant to your subscribers, and where you can earn a commission for sending it to them.
Or create a product of your own, that is carefully tailored to your target market, and try to sell it to them.

thanks for the reply, does it work? Sending subscribers things to buy.
I thought you sent information to subscribers to send them back to your blog to continue reading.

Agreed. Also I will follow your guideline.

Here are some ideas of what you can send to your subscribers:
A link to your latest blog posts
Any promotional offers you have
Info about any events or webinars you will be holding.
More info on how to use your products
Survey questions- for research purposes

How often you send is often enough for them not to forget about you, say every week or after every 2 weeks. But not too frequent that they get bored hearing from you and they choose to unsubscribe. For instance, if you send a message everyday it will be too much for some subscribers.

From what i see , everyone is spamming offers.
Doesn't it seem to obvious to send them things that you are selling?

Also is there any tool you use to do this process, or any resource you have used that makes it simple.
Seems very complicated to me.

One last thing, can you turn purchased subscribers into real subscribers?

Interesting that I find myself in situation that's similar to what OP finda himself. While my subs aren't huge yet but I don't even know what to do with them right now, it feels like they won't amount to much especially as I don't sell anything on the site.

The simple answer is, “whatever you think they might be interested in.” Are you about to change something about your site? Let them know. If you have a content roadmap, let them know when it changes, or periodically send them new ones. Did you just publish a new post? You can send notifications via your newsletter.
You’re putting out content that they enjoy, so you probably know what they’d want from a newsletter.

Answer everyone who writes.
If you are doing the mailing yourself, then do not turn it into spam.
Look for the statistics of message reading.
Connect with readers at a time when they are more active

Optimizing top posts for subscription :)
not all of your weblog posts will get the equal quantity of views. Those who have the maximum perspectives have something that your readers find thrilling and useful. While you could use the ones popular weblog posts as guides for developing fantastic blog content material, you could also use them to boost the variety of your subscribers. You could do this with the aid of optimizing them for a subscription. The exceptional manner of doing this is creating enticing call-to-actions (ctas) to include them to your top posts. You want to compel your readers to take action and join your blog for more of that super content material that they find interesting. You can make your ctas pop-up or slide in, or you can place them at the lowest of your posts. A cta is a text that activates your audience to take a particular action, in this situation, subscription. By the usage of vital verbs, along with “go to,” “research greater” or “down load,” you initiate an instantaneous response to take the next step. Here’s an example of a cta that we use on our popular the way to begin a blog guide. We offer to down load an ebook to anyone who subscribes:

All the factors that affect SEO on your blog will affect the subscribers only that you should be very careful not to appear spammy. I would suggest you only send an email to them when you have quality content or goodies to share. Plus your email title should be catchy enough to make them open it. Don't send so often, send sparingly.
