I could not make chatgpt generated articles indexed by google, whether I use a prompt like "generate an article about xxx", or combine the outputs of several questions together in an article. I'm sure google can detect they are AI-generated content because I occasionally manually write some articles using my poor English but they are indexed. I'm not a native English speaker so I don't think manually editing the output of chatgpt can outperform the original content, and it is not a method that can scale. I would like to hear how you handle chatgpt generated articles to let google index them, except manually editing them. Maybe a good prompt can help?

There probably isn’t a prompt that suddenly makes Google index AI content. Google’s own guidance doesn’t say AI-written pages are rejected just because they’re AI-generated — the bigger issue is whether the page actually adds useful/original value and meets the normal indexing requirements
Before changing prompts, check that URL in GSC and see what Google is actually reporting. If crawling and the basic indexing setup are fine, making the wording sound more “human” probably isn’t going to fix the real problem
For something that needs to scale, adding things the model can’t just reproduce from the same existing sources makes more sense — original data, examples, comparisons, useful references, etc

I would move away from generating AI-humanized articles. figure out the problem why the URL is not indexed in google search console nd improve the content of that page.

I got the same results at my first try but my manually written content gets indexed and ranks for the kwds I target, while pure ai-generated articles don't perform as well. What works for me as writing content manually first, then using gpt to structure it, improve the flow, and make it more readable.keep the originality and make sure sounds natural. Originality and content quality matter more than simply generating an article with AI. That's the approach I'm stick in it.

Google can index AI content if it’s useful and actually satisfies the search intent.

I think no way of it. If google detects ai content, it wont index it. I you write bad english axent, although google index it.

google does not care if content is ai generated, as long as it isn't generic and low-effort junk, so trying to hide it with a magical prompt will not work. If you want to scale AI content, you have to inject original value, fresh data, or unique angles, otherwise the crawler will just ignore it. First check Google Search Console to see the exact crawl errors, and stop blindly copy-pasting raw output use AI to structure and impeove the flow instead.

I don't think the main issue is simply that Google knows the article was generated by ChatGPT. I've seen AI-assisted pages index fine when they actually add something useful.
I'd first check crawlability, internal links, sitemap/canonical setup and whether the article is substantially different from what's already ranking. If you're generating at scale, avoid stitching together generic AI outputs just to produce pages that's more likely to cause indexing/quality issues than the fact that AI was used.

I’ve found that indexing is less about whether the content was generated by ChatGPT and more about originality, usefulness and overall site quality.
A better approach is to use AI for the first draft, then add genuinely unique insights rather than simply trying to “humanize” the wording.

I think AI itself is not an issue. topics that talk about pure ai are usually quite repetitive compared to other available literature. use different example, statistics nd data.

Don’t focus on making AI content “undetectable.” Use AI mainly for research, outlining, and drafting, afterwards make sure the final article has original information and examples.
Indexing issues usually arrive due to technical SEO, weak site authority, or low overall value, and not because it was "AI generated article".

Googles not detecting AI text directly, its detecting generic patterns same structure same transitions no real experience baked in adding actual data, screenshots or opinions from testing something changes the fingerprint completely prompting alone wont fix it needs a different input source not just a different prompt.
I'm interesting in "constraint prompting". Can you please give an example?

Add real screenshots, original insights, and edit the intro manually. Raw AI text without human touch often gets ignored by indexers.
