Just landed a whale client--production company working with several growing musicians.

The real question here is that I've noticed none of these bigger influencer accounts use hashtags. Has anyone worked with bigger influencer accounts?

Right now, I'm thinking that a spin on the zombie strategy might work to help grow the accounts. Create accounts surrounding the Niche or create a bunch of fan pages and direct the traffic to the influencer's account.

I would say child accounts like you did is your best bet if youre getting paid a good amount.

One good way is what you have suggested, another good way is to do collaborations or paid promotion.
There are many "influencer-networks" out there you can try, easy to narrow and look for what you want :).

@Daggermouthx I have massive influencer networks as well as a few channels for growth. Also been in the music industry for years. Dylan.Ander @ nextcoremedia dot com

I took a look at your clients since you posted your business email. Not to be a dick--but I'm not impressed. They're barely in the 5 digits in terms of followers and their engagement is terrible.

Also, offering value before trying to sell something is like sales/marketing 101.

Thanks anyways.

Child/Fan accounts - but also content is key. Have you talked to him about content curation - if done properly it can be done for cheap and be super effective.
What is his niche?

I'm interested in this as well. Trying to grow some fan accounts but had some bans so now going very slowly.

There are a bunch of ways. Of course you can use the child method or you can use other influencers.

Yeah, so here's the plan I have brewing so far. He already has massive influencers reaching out to him to collab. So I'll be doing a collab out reach. Then I'll be making posts like "go follow my back up account", and start creating several child accounts using this method. After a child account reaches 5-10k--which shouldn't take long, I'll start making another one. Then I'll automate all of the child accounts using a social media manager.

He's one of those teenage kids who's super good looking and has a voice that sounds like a mixture of Fergy and baby Jesus.

Depending on the budget, you can create your own influencer campaigns. I don't trust those already out there, your clients just don't fit in a square or circle hole, but you have to make your own holes. I know, I'm a social media manger and deal with influencers, and networks, day in and day out.
Depending on what you mean by zombie strategy, if it is what I do, it should work and spurt some engagement from the followers.
