Hey everyone—I only get a trickle of visits from Reddit and nothing else seems to work. I’m aiming for 1,000 visits a day—what did you do that actually brought people in, and how long did it take? Thanks!

You have to go for Google search. For other search engines you will need multiple sites.

In the case of social media you are in a constant battle against them because you are basically redirecting their traffic without paying them. They want you to pay them.

Even expert social media marketer cannot bring consistent traffic without paying them.

Also in case of reddit , reddit ads don't work, it's a waste of time.

You've not mentioned anything about your budget, or are you aiming for free traffic?
If it's the latter, explore X and FB groups along with reddit.

I think Google should be the main focus.

Focus on SEO by publishing keyword-targeted, helpful content and building backlinks—this takes 3–6 months but brings consistent traffic. Supplement with social media (Pinterest, Twitter, niche forums) and repurpose content on Medium/Quora to boost visibility fast.

Why dont you promote on reddit more aggresively? 1000 visits a day can be arranged from it easily.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and create valuable, useful content.

Drive website traffic by creating high-quality content optimized for SEO and sharing it across social media platforms. Use paid ads, email marketing, and backlinks from reputable sites to boost visibility.

Make a lead magnet to get your visitors interested and collect their contact info. Once you own the audience, you can guide them wherever you want.

To get real website traffic, focus on SEO (write helpful, keyword-targeted content), share on multiple social platforms (not just Reddit), build backlinks through guest posts or partnerships, and grow an email list. Use tools like Google Search Console to track performance. It can take 3–6 months of consistent effort to hit 1,000 visits/day, depending on niche and content quality.

Learn SEO and optimise for it, that's your best bet in terms of building real traffic for long term. Share it on social media like LinkedIn. If your content is valuable then other websites will link your blogs, giving you backlinks and higher authority.

If you want free traffic, focus on long-tail keywords and provide real value through your content. Also, you can combine SEO with some social media engagement it really help drive early traffic.

I built a simple interactive quiz on my site and shared it in niche LinkedIn and Slack groups, which drove 1,000 daily visits in three months.
