How to get traffic?

Im new to BHW and im still learning. I made a website with a mico niche and got the domain name under .org and a hosting service. I added adsense on there as well but it only gets around 4 page views a day for the past few weeks. How do i get more traffic to come onto the site? my adsense thing gives me $1 per click but if i dont have alot of people coming, how do i make more money? Please help a newbie out on this one.

Try using reddit. If you are interested I've written a good ebook for it and I can give you some advices.
 
Write Premium Quality Content to ur site and share it on Social Networks. Am sure u have traffic to ur site by doing this way....
 
You ultimately have a few different routes. I'm going to suggest SEO for your microniche. Go read up on the posts the above has stated as well as Moz's Beginner Guide to seo. It's a great read on how seo works. Once you understand how it works, we can guide you to how to properly do SEO. Cheers.
 
Also participate in niche related forums - don't just drop you link, but be helpful and engage the audience.

Follow the industry leaders on Twitter and share their stuff, fine out who also follows them and egnage wwith those guys. That is your target audience. The onces who you want to visit your site.

Also Stumble and Reddit can be great traffic sources depending on your niche. Along with blog commenting, not for SEO but traffic leeching.

Well it depends there are a load of ways to get traffic, just depends on the resources and the amount of time you have available. There are ways to generate free traffic but these can sometimes to time consuming, such as posting on social media platforms etc.
 
Hi, I just posted a new thread on how to generate traffic using white hat SEO techniques that you might find interesting. If you haven't already, I would say that you really need to have a blog and be creating content on a regular basis to generate traffic. Target highly search keywords within your niche and you should start to see traffic after a month or two. Get your site indexed, set up social accounts, share your blog posts etc. For more info, check out my thread below.
