How to get traffic ?

I know this is one of the most asked question in bhw or any other seo forum. As a newbie in seo, i would like to know how i can generate organic traffic to monetize site.

As far as i know i have to do seo for search engine traffic. So whether using seo tools like scrapbox, gsa search engine ranker etc can bring traffic ? I know it takes time to index the links. But how much potent they are ?

Which are the other best methods to get traffic. I dont like to go for ppc or ppv. If there is good working bots/ seo tools please suggest some.

My target is affiliate marketing. I tried since 2 years with ppv/ppc and didnt got much success.

I am not looking for $500/ day. Above $50/day is good for me.

Directories, sbms and social networking sites are best to earn good traffic and most of the sites are free of cost, so it better to work more in searching them.

hashimji12, FB and Twitter can bring you a lot of good traffic if you're good at writing interesting stuff and gaining fans. Pinterest and Stumbleupon are good if you have pretty pictures or a cool site. My wife would get 1k visitors to her food blog in 5 hours with a pretty picture of her food. It just depends on your content. SEO is great because its free. It just takes a lot of elbow grease!

But manual promotion is difficult in social sites. submiting in groups and pages. If there is bot/tool then it will be easy. Otherwise i have to go for paid promotion.

Never rely on Google (alone or otherwise). It's such a pain in the butt.

- Video sharing;
- Social networks (FB, Twitter, PInterest, etc);
- Articles (Ezine Articles is really all you need due to syndication);
- Lists (your own and others);
- Press releases;
- Offline-advertising;
- Media buys;
- Forums;
- Blog post exchanges.

I'll take traffic anywhere I can get it as long as it's white hat.

you can use facebook page with lots of followers and likes,, there if you have that then you can advertise your site and get high traffics and its organic by the way..

Setting up your code right is the first step. Try youtube, enough videos out there to get you tutored.

Since you are new don't go for the blackhat tools, it will only hurt you and your website if you can't use them correctly.
