How to Get Top Adwords Position?

I was banned from google not too long ago, but I was able to setup another account and get back in. Before I was banned, I had a campaign that was doing well because I was the "only" one bidding on that keyword and I would always get top position.

After I was banned for some other crappy landing pages I submitted when i was a newbie, someone found out about this keyword and started using it too. His landing page looks like complete shit. His creatives are all over the place with pictures and videos not scaled correctly.

Now he is a getting top position on adwords and I am losing out on a bunch of conversions.

I have a high CTR at close to 10% and I pay around 0.25$ per click. I know for a fact this guy does now have a higher quality score because of how bad his site is.

Someone suggested that I increase my bid prices, which I did to $0.55 but I am still in second position and I still pay around $0.25. Any ideas?

if your ctr and qs are maxed.. then the only way is to out-bid him, even if he's bidding like $3 or something. adwords is designed to make google money after all.

I made a script that loads the search google page, and when your ad is not displayed for X amount of times, it rests.
Then the chances are higher that when a real person googles the search word, it will display your link.
The thing is with google is they only let one IP do so many searches before the block it with a word image. You will need to use proxies.

CTR and QR is the only savior or else you have to increase your bidding
