I am a beginner here and would like to know some method to start making money on the internet. $5 a day would be a great start

It all starts by just reading this forum and absorbing the knowledge. There is a lot of great posts here that will get you started with a lot of different methods. I would advise reading about multiple ways of making money and then focusing on 1 until you make it work. It may take you some time but if you stick to it and constantly learn more you will become better and better making you more money

Explore the forums. You will find lots of money making ideas. Pick one and stick with it until you reach your goal. Good luck...

Just read, read, read. Then you will find a niche that suit you best. Then you have to read all about that method/niche and then you need to try it. It might be a long way until you find something that you are comfortable with, you will probably fail a few times on the way, but you should never give up.

Keep scraping the forum and you will find something that you like, people here are making money online through a lot of niches and methods, just found the one that you like and think you are able to do it for some time.
 
Ask yourself:
1. What are my skills?
2. Can I monetise one or more of those skills?
3. What niche is most interesting one for me (I am most familiar with)

Then:
1. Search this forum (or internet, or other forums, etc.) for information how to monetise them
2. Check out Journey section of this forum to get familiar with what and how others do to earn money

And remember - There is no easy way to earn money! You will need lot of time to invest (and probably some money) if you want to earn. AND NEVER GIVE UP (actually you can give up some idea if it doesn't work but never give up trying!
 
I have found that once you have the eyes to see the opportunities will start to appear. This comes only after literally brainwashing yourself with knowledge in your chosen niche.
