How to get SSL certificate for my website for free ? The hosting I purchased has not provided it.
I am sure you can get a free one from Cloudflare and it is up in minutes.
But does it worth go $10 per month thats what some hosting company offers.Do free SSL's generally have a lower quality?
I think it's better to flat rate it then and save money. Also I think I read something about google making them a requirement otherwise they mark your site as unsafe. But does it worth go $10 per month thats what some hosting company offers.

:/ hope I didnt blow $80 for something I could get for free lol

even flat rate they charge for $99 per year. As other say better to go free version unless ecom site.I think it's better to flat rate it then and save money.
If you're running a business or ecom site - paid version is good (EV)Do free SSL's generally have a lower quality?

Agreed to that and for free I think Cloudflare is best bet.If you're running an online business certain merchant providers require you to have a paid and enhanced security SSL for processing payments.
For everyday blogs and sites, free is fine.

free one gives a green (now gone in chrome) lock in address bar and nothing but EV SSL gives the company names and verifies the info as well that's why many payment processors needs a EV SSL secured site.
