I'll make it easy for you, you got 2 options:
Money - Advert campaign or pay someone to run the ad campaign for you (does not necesarely need to be ran from FB)
Time -
Build a site, attract a targeted audience and over time your fb fans will grow.
Build friends accounts and after a while send a mass invites to like your page.
I mean, there are a shit ton of methods to increase your traffic/likes/etc... just do some research around the forum

Well, based on your misleading-title-writing skills, you will go far getting people to click useless things for your benefit.
On a helpful note, if you need REAL (as in from engaged users) likes then advertising is best for a quick boost. If you have no budget, then you need to interact with people in your niche. As for the FAKE likes, try addmefast (and select UK only) or buy on fiverr.

Thanks guys for the replies. I did begin to sense that direct via FB was the only real way. I've just started a page promotion via FB and didn't see anywhere that I could create my own ad style etc. Will need to look into this some more as I'm sure that I should be able to create something more catchy.
Am I likely to get penalised for using a service like addmefast? I just feel if I have a larger number of likes (even if fake) they may encourage others to also like.
