Ok, I will try to make it as much informative as possible:
1) Registration in directories
There are a great many directories, you can't list them all. Look for company directories, add your company there. It seems that there is nothing easier in the world. The only thing is that sometimes there is a desire to register in all directories in the world.. Directories can be both good and bad. Dead directory in terms of promotion is useless. Some directories are even harmful.
2) Сrowd-marketing
Register on forums and start leaving meaningful comments, same with social media. However, administrators usually easily identify crowd links, and if the forum is alive, it is likely that many links will soon be removed. But it's a long process which requires special knowledges and much more time then other types of links.
Or just talk to the owners of the forums, maybe you can find an understanding?
3) Guest posts
You can always put together a huge list of good sites on your topic and send a hundred hello messages to the administrators, there won't be many responses. However, you may well be able to convince a couple of people to link to you. Of course, the likelihood increases if you can incentivize them with money. Just do not get on sites that are already selling links . Then the whole cycle of action was unnecessary.
Look for reputable sites on your niche, contact the admins or editors, and discuss publishing your content on their site. Usually you can find several sites that practice guest blogging on your topic of interest. Of course, look for popular sites, one of the main criteria for selecting such a site is the presence of a live audience. Well, and CheckTrustom can check the donor for more confidence.
4) Talk to your partners
If you work with someone regularly, you can arrange to get references.
5) Wikipedia
In some cases, such as if you have done research or have authoritative content, you can try adding your link to Wikipedia or any other online encyclopedia.
