How to get out of the sandbox

    1. Write some new content. Go crazy with this.
    2. Update your old content, fix any spelling errors.
    3. Get some quality backlinks for example some EDU links(From Big Buddy), Wiki links and some linkpushes
The above has worked for me before.

What kind of linkbuilding did you do before?

    That is highly inaccurate.

I'm taking in to consideration your onpage SEO to be proper and nothing dumb like kw stuffing. OP, have you tried using the "site:" string on google to see if its been sandboxed or deindexed?

Do you have a record of your kw rankings before and after (after what I am presuming some sort of link building).

If you really want to figure out the effects of a "sandbox". Compare and correlate your kw rankings prior to and after (type of links built) with the amount of the new links that have been indexed.

If they are low quality links, go back check the index rate a week later to see which ones have "stuck".

Analyzing the amount of new backlinks indexed by google will give you an idea as to why you are getting swings (this term should replace "sandbox") with your rankings.
