can anyone suggest any dedicated server to host a private blog network, i will assign one ip to each blog,

i already checked hostgator dedicated server, any other which is better and cheaper then that?

Just go to webhostingtalkforum.com and choose some of their shared hosting offers. They have $1 - $3/month offers.

If you order ip's from one supplier (i.e. hostgator), they will come from the same IP block, so, what's the point then?!

i agree

but isnt it difficult to manage 100 different hosting accounts?

Go to turnkey and get a seo hosting. I have one having 60 unique IPs. and it works fine. Support is excellent.

I see that your main goal is to have a blog network, and having all of your blogs on one dedicated server with ALLOCATED IP block is only going to ruin your goal because as soon as any single IP is tagged as blog network site by Google then be ready to get all of your sites deindexed at once.
Moreover getting backlinks from consecutive IPs is just going to make it worse for you.

Try seohosting.com --- > their support is really awesome, they will answer every noobs question.. That's what we get to know more informations from them when am newbie :)

Just google it buddy, I know many people personally whose blog networks got deindexed just because they were on seohosting.com and aseophosting.com IP blocks.

The best way is to get hosting from different providers. Try web hosting forums and you should be able to get quite a number of very cheap options from different hosting services. From the very small to the big ones. I don't swallow that seo hosting stuff.

Yes if your looking to leave massive footprints on your network. Try avoiding seohosting and such. Did you read on how google tracked blog networks? Its because of seo hosting. If I were you ill get multiple hosting accounts from various host and host 2-3 blogs each hosting account, thats what I did on my network and havn't yet experienced a single deindexation.

Shared hosting is the way to go :)

I haven't tried SEO hosting yet but there is enough negative feedback for me not to try it even once. Just go to Webhostingtalk forum and you will find tons of cheap shared hosting packages there.

Nope, I don't agree this completely, Let me explain the real fact,

SEOhosting is not the factor actually for de-indexing, then you may also google it " Why blog networks deindexed ? " Its mainly because of unnatural links, who.is, foot prints, High OBL, etc.. Also Do you know, Majority of the blog networks use seohosting.com, Half of the networks with seohosting were still cool & running safely:) So SEOhosting highlighted in private blog networks.

Btw, Am running my own private blog network with SEOhosting which going cool, No deindexed / penalized issues so far.

Bart

Actually i am currently using seo hosting, but as above guys mentioned its risky to use it, so i am thinking to transfer to some other hosts maybe, and also since i am looking to expand the network.

I am not experienced in this hosting field. Just read some cool information.
Thanks all of you

You have true and good points regarding deindexing factors but they are not always true as if a dedicated IP is tagged as blog network then try hosting a completely new blog, whois protected, no footprints, good content and no OBL on it and see the results.

I am happy that you are lucky so far that your IP block was not closer to those of other deindexed blogs.

Okay, its up to you. But if people say's risk with SEOhosting then you ask them have had any bad experience or something.. If their answer is "yes" then you can go with some other hosting not an problem

lol, If you pick some X hosting is better after hearing that with some few people, then you will also hear some bad reviews about the same X hosting, How could you going to choose the best ?

All the best - Good Luck!

Bart

If the convenience is worth the risk to you, then go with "seo hosting".

you need cheap separate shared hosts; seo hosting is 100% risk

We have dedicated servers and vps with as many Ips as you need, but you need to provide justification,
PM or reach me on skype as panamaserver

The trick to building your own Blog Network is diversity!!

You need:

  • Domain Registrars - several ideally in different countries. My domains are split between: GoDaddy, Namecheap, 123-Reg (UK), and few more. They are cheap enough and most of them support auto-renew so it's a one-off setup.

  • Different Hosts - IP diversity is key, places like SEOHosting offer different C-classes but this is not enough. In network terms those C-classes all end up in the same place and Google or you can see that from trace-routing . You want completely different networks, again even different countries. Shared hosting providers are ideal, you can get packages as low as $1/month if you shop around. You sites will be on completely different hosts, networks and even continents.

  • Different Software - Of course Wordpress is omnipresent, and most of my blogs are running it. But make sure you don't leave any 'fingerprints' install different themes, plugins, etc. as appropriate. If you're serious about building a Blog Network then you can look at the other Blog software like MovableType, Joomla, Drupal etc.

  • Web 2.0's - Last but not least, don't underestimate the power of Web 2.0's. Blogger, Tumblr, Wordpress.com etc. can all play their part in your blog network.

Yes, I know .. it sounds like a ball-ache .. but done correctly you will be as imperceptible as you can be to Google etc. and the stupidity of a few others won't bring your network down, this is inevitable for all of the SEO Hosting outfits.

Best of luck, start small, find a workable way to manage them, then scale it up. If you have any questions just shoot me a PM :)

I don't suppose you have a handy dandy list available for web 2.0 sites that will allow me to promote a local business? I recall having built a wordpress.com blog once and then having them delete it...
