Long story short, coming back after being ill for a few months I just can't seem to get anything done. I know what I need to do, I know how to do it but nothing happens.
I used to be able to sit down, focus and grind out the work that needed doing but now it's like I instantly give up. I can't seem to get motivated, the drive just isn't there.
Starting to bug me because I'm wasting time doing shit that doesn't help me.

Maybe if I could get the ball rolling I might snap back into it but I can't even get to that stage
Not sure what to do with myself

Anyone been in this sort of slump before, how did you get out of it?

The same applies to me, I just started with my very first website and I've already spent $50 and I haven't even built it up or gotten a single visitor yet due to a lack of effort. I tend to procrastinate and its annoying because this has potential to make me money, its not like gaming or cleaning the back garden. I guess you just need to keep your eyes on the goal and understand that work = reward. Perhaps look at more different/(fun?)/unique ways of making money that you haven't tried yet, something that will motivate you. Goals are probably the most important thing(s) to have.

the only thing you can do is get something done.

start with a plan, and create a work flow chart. then get on with creating.

IMO ups and downs are a normal part of business. If it's so bad though, maybe consider doing something else that's worth getting excited about?

Maybe focus on something you really like and work something around that?

Yeah this happened to me after I took a few months off. I didn't have any projects in the works so I felt no motivation because I couldn't see the end game. I just pushed through the beginning stages of everything, and once things started coming together, I was back the same as before. I'd recommend you just try to push through... your drive will come back in a few weeks.

I love fasting. Though I've never gone three days, 24-48 hours of no food and tons of water is (I think) one of the best things anyone can do for his or her body.

My maximum is 4 days but I only eat fruit and vegetables the day before, if for exemple I eat bad food like a KFC and coke then after I go fasting I feel few symptoms like blood sugar drop, take care to the fact the glycogen reserves are depleted about 12-24 hours after the last meal and then begin all the benefits with the ketone burning (because no more sugar in blood the body will convert the fat in sugar)

For people want know more about it's just a normal metabolic function, every animals in the world don't eat everyday (human too as well and for million of years), so we need to produce a little period of stress artificially for keep a good health

Really happy to know other people here doing that!

This is a perfectly natural response. I think anyone has been there that has ever taken some time off from work for any reason. It can often be difficult to get back into the swing of things.

It's happened to me plenty of times, or I may become demotivated by less than stellar performance results. I think it takes a few days of truly focused effort to rise above these situations. Fasting can be productive for many people, but some people have a hard time doing it.

Deprivation is certainly not the only solution to this, but I think it helps people to understand sometimes with a bit more clarity what exactly it is that motivates you to begin with. So sometimes I'll make a list of what I'm "fighting for." I'll list the reasons this work has be done at a very personal level, and reflect on the importance to me of accomplishing some set goals.

In these situations I usually identify one of the single things I can complete for work that is most likely to generate positive outcomes. I often see this as a monetary situation, so I typically look for what action or actions I can easily take that will be most likely to increase revenue directly.

Then I basically force myself to do those things. Generally this resolves the entire matter and I find going back to work with more energy is much easier at this point. However, I generally will later benefit again from seeing actual productive revenue. This strengthens my resolve and determination to drive forward on projects.

Hope it helps man. You can overcome this. We've all been there!

There is something going on in your mind so you will have to ride it out. Meaning that you are motivated by actionable activities or missions. You are going to have to set some mission goals. Start small. But keep your Big ideas. For instance get into something new. If you know SEO switch to Social. If you know affiliate marketing but are upset by the length of time or slow results make a plan for CPA. Start a few new gigs on Fiverr or Fourerr. Get on Craigslist look for some quick gigs, Create some flyers go door to door about what you can do, talk to others about some special offers. Tell some friends you need help finding people who need (?) Offer some gigs or services and split it with a friend for referrals. Set daily goals then weekly. Try to convert some PLR's to personal products.

You got to do it yourself homie. Visualize the money and what you will do with it. If that doesn't work then quit IM.
