have a my own web site i want to get more traffic on it plz tell me how to get it?

For Organic Traffic do SEO for your website and get the ranking for your keywords.
For Referral Traffic do SMO with Facebook, twitter and Do Forum commenting etc..
Start Research.......
 
If you are website is new, than just make first few free press release, than you need to start research here is many way to drive a more traffic for your business, such as like, traffic though SEO, SMO, PPC etc..do a little research and active with internet marketing, i am assured legitimately you will know how can i get maximum exposure for my site. 2. backlinks

A word about the content: quantity is good, quality is better, quality combined with quantity rocks your socks off.

Simple as that.
 
why don't you just buy the traffic? This way you can get targeted traffic that will convert

I'd go with forum posting and Social media if you're looking for an instant spike in traffic. Organic results would take time to show results.

This can work well for some people and badly for others, you need to experiment with paid traffic to see how the visitors react, once you have a campaign that converts you can place all profits into on going SEO to help ensure long-term success!
 
SEO is probably the way to go in the long run. it is the key to building a sustaining organic traffic. :)
 
pinterest, fb, twitter, linkedin and more social networks with that yahoo answer will also get you more traffic
 
1. Share to Social Media (Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn)
2. Create Infographics for your relevant Industry
3. Create any web 2.0 site for your relevant industry and every post and tweet it.
4. Engagement with Commenting to International Magazines (Relevant Industry).

Guest blogging now is an authentic way to get you good amount of traffic. If you are targeting audience only from a specific location, try making links from the same CTLD which you are targeting. Be it any source..
