There are literary million ways to collect and grow traffic, but since you are a beginner, I would recommend first paid advertising on social media and Google (if your niche allows this kind of activity), as this will be the fastest way to attract a decent amount of traffic. You could also try to do it in an organic way by connecting with some external sites and getting as many backlinks as you can, you could write some guest articles, and so on, but these activities require more time so it's maybe better to start with ads and then to dedicate to SEO which is, by the way, one of the best and most reliable ways to get traffic.
