Twitter & Facebook pages as well.

I always thought twitter was shitty until i tried it, it brings in a bit of traffic for me and i don't even do anything auto, just a few comments each day regarding my niche.

Thanks, Poisonsembrace.

But how do I market it with Twitter? I have no idea.

Twitter you can't post your link, you have to post your link like bit.ly ... Don't know if then it's a backlink or not

Thanks guys.

And is there a powerful twitter tool to gather friends easily? My product is about Acne... I just need to drive more traffic ot my site.

I know your thread topic was backlinks but you also mentioned traffic which is why i mentioned Twitter.

I just comment on trending topics and things related to my niche.
For example, i might write "I found a great article/video/podcoast about your keyword, check it out, link - #keyword1 #keyword2 #keyword3

I get some good traffic this way, it isn't amazing but it's targeted at least.

place your backlinks on the inner pages of High PR authority sites, and you will benefit from the strong link juice that these sites generate in Google

Thanks guys.

Make friend on Twitter is easy. Make a girl profile, nice pic(not porn or erotic). Your first message like this. "Hi guys/every one I'm looking to make some new friend here. Im ........"
You will have some friend the same day you have post. After that make a new message like. " Before I got Acne but I have use some new product that really work. (Put your link for your product by using http://bit.ly)

I have try it out and got good result.

Nice way to get bumped up in the SERPs...

When spending time on Twitter you need to consider what you want traffic for.

Traffic coming from tweets likely isn't looking to buy anything. They don't have a problem to solve.

If you want to make money you need focused search engine traffic. The social traffic isn't worth a dime.

know some link-dropping sources and drop the links there.Although the traditional methods exist, they will not be enough for getting the rankings. So you got to know where to drop the links. You will find several e-books in this forum that tell you about this.

Twitter can be a massive traffic generator.

I've been using TweetAdder and multiple accounts to get an average of 3K followers per account, with more being added every day.

Create a text file with a bunch of relevant posts about (topic) causes, fixes, news, reviews, things to avoid, etc, etc. Schedule these to automagically post every so often. Sprinkle in an occasional shameless self promoting post of your own.

Don't forget about twitpic. If you post the right photos at the right times of day, you can get more new followers and traffic than you can shake a stick at!

If you're using a blog, grab a plugin and have your feed automatically update ping.fm, and set it to automatically update twitter/facebook/etc. Suddenly your post is spreading to all the social networks with a minimum of effort.

When making posts, be sure to occasionally drop in mentions of whatever is a hot/trending topic. People frequently search for and read these posts, so jump on and cash in on the bandwagon.

There's many other techniques but these should get you started.
