For small SEO agencies, freelancers that don't put a ton of energy into their own SEO (whether it's too competitive or you rely on word-of-mouth), I highly recommend LinkedIn for lead gen.

After optimizing my profile, I have been generating 3-5 leads from LinkedIn per week WITHOUT posting, and at a higher close rate than any other traffic source.

I think this is an awesome platform because the organic reach seems to be better than on Facebook and it doesn't require constant posting like on Instagram (though I highly recommend staying active for better results).

There are also some pretty big players on the platform - I have landed some $10k+ SEO outreach gigs at major companies that you never see hanging out at Facebook or Instagram.

Have you seen solid results from LinkedIn lead gen?

People don’t want to reveal their real identity. LinkedIn has been and would always be a platform with high quality lead since folks operating on the platform are of reputable classes.

Great info - thanks mate. I've heard about how powerful LinkedIn can be when it comes to generating leads, but I've never explored it myself. Definitely going to now though!

Cheers

Did you try to optimize a business page as well? Also on your public profile, did you add any certifications? Thanks!

It is very powerful, but 90% of the people have there an average account filled with info covered with dust.

If you really want to generate leads, you should make sure that is 100% filled with info. You have at least 500 connections, skills, and endorsements. A unique description of what you do.

Articles there can get viral very easy too. You can share articles that you've written from your blog, as there won't be any problem with duplication.

You don't know what kind of people hang out there tbh. Not your average local business owner Joe

Great, can you elaborate please. Like
what kind of clients (e.g. saas seo clients, links buyers)
what you have done to get those clients. ( I understood you optimized your profile, but whats next?)
how you pitch them
have you tried linkedin ads?

Stricly link deals, white hat ones to their site.
Actually, I made a good post there, it got a bit viral and then had many requests and got into talking.

Tbh I don't directly pitch into them. Most of the time they ask my opinion about their current link building and what are my quotes then we get into talking. I'm not 100% utilizing LinkedIn as I know it can be a goldmine but learning along the way what works and what doesn't. Probably will make a full post here for BHW.

No never tried Ads over there bud.

Ok So Its all about the Article that Went Viral... Good job.. Will test it.. I guess I've to make number of connections, endorsement so that my article gets virality.

Thanks For your input

why not that such a shady answer.
not everyone doing anything illegal m8.

this forum for marketing not hiding tax or illegal work.

nearly all of blackhatworld members got a website with there real info on, were not all scam artists.

this is why this forum gets a bad name remarks like this.

stop scare mingling ppl it all shit talk, there thousands of successful users on here that got huge websites using their name and mention blackhatworld as a thank you for there success.

the whole concept of the forum to get an online job done faster than using whitehat technics, it not to use blackhat technics for an illegal purpose, that type of methods are illegal and this forum will not tolerate it full stop.

if your stupid enough to do a crime then you do the time.

LinkedIn is awesome for lead gen but I will ALWAYS favour word of mouth. Nearly 70% of all of my client earnings have come from word of mouth. Do an awesome job for your client, and they'll shout it to the moon and back.

Can you drop links of some of the best optimized profiles just to have a look.

I am also thinking about dabbing on linkedin to expand client's portfolios for our service but the problem is I never used linkedin before & don't know where to start! :(

Can you share some tips on how to optimize profile, what kind of posts should be shared & some live example (if possible) to expand networks on there?

After optimizing your profile, all you did was make a post and people eventually followed you?

Did you originally have an infograph and inbox screen shot on this post?
