how to get keywords ranking in google without content

I bought a domain about 8 months ago and planned on building out a site but then got involved with more lucrative activities and never got around to working on the site. All I did was install a premium theme and some other minor stuff but never added content.
The domain is ranking on the first page for a few keywords related to the domain name and has been there for at least 6 months. No backlinks whatsoever. I guess its ranking because 1 its not very competitive term and 2 its exact match domain name.
I assume the site OP is referring to is along the same lines

the site doesn't have too many backlinks thou it is brand name and does many social networking activities...i can post the link of the site but i am not sure ..if i post link.... i might get banned..anyways we can discuss without site link..this is a general query

Links can get it there. But you're going to need content to keep the manual reviewers happy.
