I have put money in my google ads account, created compaign(and group)which include some keywords. Also the compaign is running.
However keyword planner still shows avg search volume like 1K-10K range.

I see some GKP tutorial they show exact search volume. How they do it?

ugh, I don't remember what the exact name of the setting, but it was something like "forecast" or "predict" or something like this...
Hi thanks for reply.
I watch the tutorial just search some keywords and it shows exact numbers.
Maybe the keyword plan version updates after the tutorial.
I'll keep running my campaign and wait for few days to check if it appears.

that's one way to do it for sure...

But I remember that you could see the volumes right away, you didn't need to wait for days. But like I said, I don't remember how that option was called (or how you accessed it), as it's several years since I logged into my GAds account...

Actually, now that I think better I think it might have shown potential clicks and / or impressions, not search volumes specifically. Ugh, sorry amigo, my memory fails me hard :(

Just look it up in google or YT, there has to be someone who knows how to do this (if it's possible that is, because it's possible for google to have removed this info completely)

You need to have an active campaign, and wait for the planner to get activated, in about a week or 2.

To get the exact search volume from Google Keyword Planner, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Click on the "Tools & Settings" menu and select "Keyword Planner" from the drop-down.
  3. Click on the "Discover New Keywords" tab and enter the keyword or phrase you want to check in the "Start with keywords" field.
  4. Click on the "Get Results" button.
  5. On the next page, you will see the search volume for the keyword or phrase you entered under the "Avg. monthly searches" column.
Note that the exact search volume may not always be available, especially if the keyword has low search volume. In such cases, Google will provide a range instead.

The exact search volume data in Google Keyword Planner is only available to accounts with active campaigns. If you have an active campaign and are still not seeing the exact search volume, try adjusting the date range and location settings to see if that makes a difference. Additionally, keep in mind that the search volume can fluctuate over time, so it's important to continually monitor and adjust your campaigns accordingly.
