How To Get Footer / Sidebar Links

Hello All,

What is the best method to get footer / sidebar links of high pr sites? Do you buy from forum members, use a tool to find them and email the webmaster, etc. etc.?? This is the one area in SEO where I'm lacking the most and would love some guidance. Thanks much!!

You could probably try a link broker like Link Adage or Text Link Brokers to get these. Why do you want footer or sidebar links though? Probably better off trying to score other types of high PR links first.

I was under the impression that a high PR footer / sidebar link was better than a homepage link due to the fact that it's on the homepage, and all inner pages as well, providing you with many more links.
