How To Get Find Owners Name Easily?

Hi

Got a quick question, if they arent listed on manta.

How do you go about finding the owners name?

Im going to ring up but don't want to sound like im offering them something just want to find the owners/managers name and hangup.

I was just going to post that ^^^^^

but, if that doesn't work than your options are left to cold calling, and in-person visits to the business.
 
I call the business and say...

"Hello, I'm writing a letter that I would like to address to the owner. Who will I be addressing this to?"

95% of the time...they give you the name.

I have had it were the business owner picks up the phone. Then you just have to grow some balls and tell them you have a report you would like them to see. (i usually use this as an opportunity to invite myself to meet with them instead of mailing it)

I have also had cocky receptionists that give themselves too much credit for what they do and start questioning me. At that point I just say it's a personal letter that I think they would want to receive as it's important. They usually break loose then and give me what I want.

That's just what I do. I'm still learning. But I'm learning fast that you can't be a pussy and hide. That's not business. If that's what you prefer, I would suggest affiliate marketing. Just have to do it, worst that can happen is they say no.

I do exactly the same as above. Just pick up the phone. 90% of the time you'll have the contact name in under 30seconds. Most of the time you'll only get asked your name to which you can say joe bloggs or max power it doesn't matter.

As mentioned once in a while you hit a tough receptionist but it doesn't take too much social engineering to get the name out of her.
