Buy a ton of them from Fiverr, SEOClerks and such. Sometimes as cheap as 5$.

whats the point of fake followers on tumblr if no one can see how many followers you have. tumblr is different dude.

There is no point in fake followers since none of them would reblog or like your posts. So if you purchased followers you would also need to purchase those also.

I guess the only thing fakes would be useful for is if you were trying to sell an account and make it more appealing.

You don't need fake followers in tumblr. What you need is visibility. Since no one can see your followers in tumblr. There no point on getting fake followers.
Think about what you need to do to make your tumblr blog start getting visibility and you could start making a dime...
With the experience I've learnt that tumblr has very concrete requisites (and simple ones) to start getting traffic. If you fail with these requisites tumblr will never drive traffic to your blog, just because they will not make it public.
Just experiment what works, and what not. Then keep/discard.

Tumblr is cracking down on fake followers. They just delete them. It's been a problem from them since most of the fake followers have spammy names like "meetmetonight2348765".
