How to get .EDU and .GOV links

Hello guys,

I want to ask if anyone out there can help me to grab some .EDU and .GOV links for my website.
I also want to know whether the links will be from the homepage or inner pages linking from the homepage ?

You've got 3 options

1 - Check out the BST section.
2 - Scrape them on your own using custom footprints.
3 - Buy them on Fiverr
 
.edu and .gov are not so important if they don't have enough value. Concentrate in getting links that actually have big value

gov and edu domains usually have high authority and PR. This is because they have been online for a long time, and in the case of .edu links, there are masses of graduates that put links to their school on every webpage they build or can.

Just because it is .,gov or ,edu alone means nothing. Getting a local high school to link to you will have very small effect, even though it is a .edu link. One from Harvard will be much better.

Same with .gov, the whitehouse is great, your local Municipal utility district, even though .gov, not so much.

The more links going into a site from varied sources, the more powerful the link from that site is, it applies to .gov and .edu too. Look for high authority, low OBLs.
 
There are a lot of gigs on fiverr for edu and gov links.. Just make sure some of them are do follow links
 
.edu and .gov links pass some level of trust to your website. Even if the link doesn't have your anchor text, it will still help you to diversify your link portfolio.
 
Can I also get homepage .EDU links ? Is it possible ?
