How to get Deepfake Creatives Approved in FB ADS

For deepfake content to be approved for Ads, it must be transparent, not misleading, and comply with Meta's advertising policies on transformative content.

Using deepfake videos is not allowed but there may be many cases that are approved by FB's first review round and you see it, but after a while if FB scans or reaches the review round, their post will probably be removed.

Facebook checks deepfake intent; deceptive videos will be rejected. Approved ones are often labeled as AI-generated or entertaining and may bypass rules temporarily.

Hello guys,

Ive noticed a lot of ads using deepfake videos, however i cant get mine approved, i tried lowering quality but still the same, anyone can drop some knowledge on how to get past this? Campaign type is Instant forms , in which ive noticed thatcreative approval is way less strict than Web Traffic type

Thanks a lot
Optimize video metadata
Use editing software to:

Remove or reset metadata (ffmpeg, Handbrake)

Export files in lightweight formats: .mp4, encode H.264, bitrate < 3 Mbps

Set frame rate from 24–30fps (avoid unusually high frames)

Try different video variations. Don't impersonate real people and follow Meta's advertising policies on conversion content.

Such content must be transparent, not misleading, not impersonate real people, and comply with Meta's advertising policies on conversion content. Contact support for feedback.

You can use celebrities I am in this fieled almost 3 years now, generating leads for trading with celebrities deepfakes, also running recovery. if you need to know how please DM me
Hi Bro! If you can share some pointer that would be a really great help. Thank you

To increase your chances of approval, you should clearly reduce deepfake elements, use medium quality videos or mix real content, and try running under Instant Forms campaigns since moderation there is often lighter.

First of all, DeepFake need to be really quality. If DeepFake is shitty they wont accept it no matter what you doing. But to be honest there is not much people who can do really quality DeepFake

Make sure your deepfake ads for Instant Forms disclose AI, comply with policies, are not misleading, and respect intellectual property rights. If rejected, try non-deepfake content or contact support for feedback.

Try using more subtle deepfake edits with native-style hooks — also avoid direct claims or exaggerated expressions to pass FB’s AI filters.

If you use a celebrity's image or voice, even without specifically naming them, Meta's AI system can easily detect and reject it immediately for violating its "misleading content" policy.

first you need to run some ads to make your account stronger, then promote the deepfakes post, i usually do that and it works

Facebook explicitly bans ads that attempt to mislead or deceive users, including ads using deepfake technology in a way that mimics a real person without clear disclosure.

Run a few blank campaigns to kickstart your ad account. The content must be transparent, not misleading, not impersonating real people, and comply with Meta's advertising policies on conversion content.

It’s true that instant forms have a higher approval rate, especially if the creative is well optimized. With deepfake videos, the deciding factor is often context and scripting – avoid being too obvious about the scam, don’t create a “fake” feeling, and especially make sure the thumbnail is “clean”. In addition, it’s a good idea to test with slight variations of faces, dialogue, and even voiceover. If you get caught right at the upload stage, it’s usually because the creative fingerprint matches a blacklist. In this case, a small split-test with clean accounts or a complete re-creation of the script can help you get through the review process.

Getting through deepfakes largely depends on how you contextualize and mask the AI signals in your creative. Don’t focus on reducing quality – instead, pay attention to metadata, audio sync, and especially avoid CTAs or behavior that would flag “celebrity impersonation” or “misleading”. With Instant Forms, the window is a little wider, but if the creative is already flagged (hash, frame template, etc.), changing the format won’t help. You need to A/B test with short snippets, change your voice tone, emotes slightly, and keep your landing page/form compliant. Most importantly, keep your funnel clean – the less signs of cheating at the top of the funnel, the higher your chances of survival.
