I wanted to know how cPanel licensing actually works. I mean there is cpanel website and also 3rd party resellers.
Basically i am about to get VPS from a company which sells just VPS with OS installed. No cPanel is included. I googled and i can SSH into the VPS and then install cPanel on my own. Process to do so is easy.
But most important question is:
HOW do i buy the license ? There are like 50 companies selling it. I just need 1 license. i dont wanna be scammed by a fake seller and this is the first time i am buying on my own. Till now just used the one that was available with my shared hositng.
Pointers will be appreciated. I google but all i could find is multiple sites trying to sell me cpanel. couldnt find a guide on WHERE to buy from.
