How to get competetion blacklisted by google?

Sabotaging someone else's business because you can't beat them legitimately with WH or BH tactics is just low-down and dirty, and it isn't much different than if you firebombed their business in real life. This type of thing is NOT what blackhat is all about. I liked the analogy that Snowwhite used:

"Using BH is like cheating in school, but blacklisting your competition is like killing your classmate."

The only time I would approve of this type of thing is if the person or business was a scam artist and was hurting innocent people or taking advantage of them in some way. BUT, I/We aren't here to judge this guy's actions or to censure this type of information. So if anyone knows how to do it, and feels just in releasing the information, feel free to help the guy out.

Everyone has their own level of tolerance to how black hat they go. Personally I'm not as black hat as 80% of you guys but I don't care much what other people do (and I keep backups). I think the link above posted by BruceW4yne is a good start. That and one of these moves http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/10508-wide-circles-sucks.html should get you started if that's what you're into. With the last example you'll make doubters of anyone whether something is good or not.

If m1cro$oft did not eliminate their competition, where would they be today?

If the pages are spam and what not, why not just give a shot at beating them the right way? You'd be more productive in the end, instead of being destructive straight from the start.

Don't rag on this guy! When I was in the freebie game, there were a few sites in the top 10 that were old sites and have not been updated in years. Why would the user want to see 3 year old freebies when my site had up to the minute freebies.

I was going to remove the competition for a better user experience, but I did not get around to it. Sometimes helping Google remove old, unwanted sites is not such a bad thing.

Bottom line if we use bh and get caught we know the risk before hand But to dish a good site is not part of the game yes it can be done to some sites Do I know how yes cos it was done to me, will tell the low life that wants to know? In my opinion your options are clear...

With the proper use and combination of White , Grey, and Black Hat techniques, you can take over the ranking positions above you. Do an analysis on the pages being listed above yours to determine what additions or changes you should make to your site to increase your rankings.

In my niche I was successful in climbing to the top 10 results in less then 3 months with a new site and newly registered domain name. The trick is to obtain a few legitimate backlinks from other sites that have a decent PR followed by tweaking your site to beat your competitors as your rankings increase. And of course using BH methods to gain additional links and traffic. Remember new content is important or you are no better then the competition you are trying to beat.

Of course the above is my own opinion and experience. At this point I can take a product that was created by someone else and repost it on my site and send an email to my list advising of the same. Within a few days I am sure my profit margins for the product had exceeded the original launch, as long as I can get the product posted within a couple days of it being released that is.

But to stoop to a level of analyzing their site and then reporting to have them de-listed is just dumb. While you are there analyzing their site take note of the methods they have used to rank so high and mimic the same. If your site is truly better then theirs then you will over take the ranking soon enough. Why waste your time hoping to get them de-listed.

Ya, I would rather just beat them at the game than cheat to have them removed...

I have to agree with Snowwhite and others. This is a BH forum. If you're a BH and you have spam and foreign investment sites above your site, so what? You probably do the same kind of stuff! Karma's a bitch, and if you tamper with those other sites, it'll slap you hard. Seriously.

This is a great opportunity to improve your own skills. Use it.

It is one thing to battle your competition and entirely another to "report" them, in order to move your own site up. Use your BH, GH and WH skills to beat them. "Reporting" them is just so lame........I believe in competition not the "reporting" tactic. It is not even a business tactic.....I mean, where is the business aspect of this method?

The thread started out with an idea that is NOT competition at all. It has NOTHING to do with being a Black Hatter as well.

Forget the other sites, if they are really up there through trickry and spamming, Google will eventually get on to them.

I do not do this but I have seen one of my friends sites get taken off the front page and off the top 100 results even because someone attacked him by spamming a ton of inactive forums with pr0n spam and put a link to his site along with the pr0n links.

i dont understand the big fuzz with this kids question, its a legit question in this kind of forum. when a newbie ask a question on a technique that he/her probaly could use agianst yourself (no names mentioned) you all get scared... If a moderator would have asked a question like that no one would have cald him f....g n...a and so on.. this is a technique thats works, (not blacklisting), but you will also get hit by this, so lets say your on the 8 spot in google and your competition is in the number 1 spot, then you could get him down to spot 3 or 4, but that would mean that you end up on page 2.... So this little bastard technique only works if you want to make someone angry and make them shift focus for what you competing for. and of course you dont compete for that keyword...

You have from this thread been given more ways to skin this cat than most people would give you the time of day mate. So how about simply doing whats been suggested.

1. Was to improve your seo skills black hat and white hat. Why the hell should you knock the top five off when thats just what they have done....improved the skill level above yours!
2. If you REALLY are sitting at position 6 in the top ten then it should be more than simple with a little WORK to get above the fifth and fourth.
3. If this is a very area specific term then its also probably a low focused term with little if any comp....so again go do some work and nail it.


And lastly it may be a good idea for you to post your sites url and key words your trying for?

The reason I ask, that is I can then see if I can slam dunk myself into a nice position 6 on google You would love that wouldn't you. After all its only your work I would be putting down the drain and as it appears....thats totally ok with you

I'll tell you what works, or at least DID work. Referrer spamming your competition's URL's. If you setup something to look like a cloaker script is what that URL is pointing to, I've found it took less than a month of nightly hammering away to get their entire site removed from Google's index. I discovered it on my own years ago, and was VERY tempted to use it on some of the bigger name domains when they pissed me off but refrained. Haven't tried it lately so not sure if still does
