Make a Youtube video, add link to your domain name which forwards to your affiliate landing page with your id. Spam the YouTube link with hundreds of backlinks. Rinse, repeat. Only cost to you is the domain name.

I'm sorry but its disgusting to me that you said "free". Free isn't free, its time consumed. On your "Free" time go read a few articles on sales pages, then start trying to spot what makes a great conversion (emotional triggers) and what makes a crappy sales page.

I think what soulcollector was trying to say is that free is never free yoou are simply not paying with money but your time.
Time is valuable yet often overlooked currency

In all cases, the key is to post quality content/posts. Forget about posting one liners such as "OMG you have to check this out www.yourafflink.com"; you'll get banned in a second and even if you didn't, you won't get any sales. You have to write a useful, informative paragraph, and then only insert your link as naturally as possible, avoiding the hard sell approach at all costs.

Moreover, as posters above have already noted, free methods aren't 'free' - you are investing your time (and you'll need to invest considerable amount of time to make serious money with free methods). How about you find a part-time job offline, save some money, then invest in an MNS + SEO + Paid Traffic?

MY METHOD: YOUTUBE + CLICKBANK = $$$

1. Find a good product to promote on ClickBank
2. Keyword research (Pick a keyword)
3. Create the actual video
4. Upload the video (Title, description, and tags)
5. Buy Youtube views / likes / comment
6. Buy Social Bookmarks
7. Buy Backlink
8. Wait... then rinse & repeat if necessary
