I live in The Netherlands and usually have a hard time getting CJ vendors to accept me. Even though I have English-language sites, hosted in the USA and receiving mainly USA traffic... I often become rejected just because of where I live.

How do other foreign CJ affiliates cope with that?

I personally contact them via email with the reason that "why I had bee rejected for your program" & ask them to give suggestion to qualify !

If they didn't respond I mail them twice or thrice & wait for their replies... Finally one of them accepts to join their program!

I also like to share some helpful tips from others' to get the vendors accepted to join their program easily..

Thanks in advance!

I have had a lot of luck with contacting with email or phone the programs that have rejected me.

if you have a high rating in cj (1-5stars) email the manager and remind them that you are a powerseller and you have been around for a while in cj, if not, email and tell them you are a very ambitious website only and looking to get started right away with a program that fits your needs, of course just sound enthusiastic and well "noobish" affiliate managers love affiliates who are ambitious and noobs cuz they think that one noob will bend over backwards promoting their program and upping their affiliate manager ranking.

Good question, i live in Spain and got rejected as well :(
I was wondering if registering to CJ with a US IP and filling the app form with a fake us address, phone, etc, could do the trick with their advertisers, will appreciate any advice on this as well, thanks...

Anyway. Makes it easier for me to accept that it is the same for European marketers. I thought being rejected all (at least many) times had to do that I where setting up my cj account with my Asian details.

And since a few years it is getting more and more aff progs asking for US tax numbers. But what I see since a fwe months: many aff progs starting asking for EU tax numbers. And if you can not show - you can not sign up. For me thats a kind of neo racism. Just my 2 cts

if you think they are rejecting you b/c of your location, i guess they're just being safe and thinking that's where most of the click fraud happens so they just say no, i personally don't agree with that, but aff managers are pricks, what can i say.

I read somewhere there is a tax number for non-us residents called ITIN, will have to check that... Even better than the US address is opening US bank account for non residents instead of waiting ages for checks, also lived almost a year in the US in the past and have a SSN card, hopefully that will still work...
Did anyone got approved by CJ advertisers outside the US here? Let us know... :)

Is there any shortcut to get approval from vendor?
I've been declined once, and I send them back the email without response.
I know that my problem probably because I don't live in USA or Canada.
But, I really need to get that particular affiliate.

If it's not shortcut, "A WAY to get approved by vendor" would also great (even get a bit slower or time consuming).
Any help would be much appreciated.

:o :o

It sounds like most of you guys need to send a PM to uptownbulker about purchasing an anonymous US corporation (business), which you can then use to get a US bank account and use the corporations EIN with CJ.

What gets me are the programs that instantly decline you without giving a reason. When you get declined for a credit card, at least they give you a reason.

i get rejected for a lot of advertiser too

but sometimes if you write to them personally, you will get approve after you let them know how are you going to promote their product

just apply to a program and email the AM that you will comply to the special T&C's and make sure this email looks professional. that's it you will get accepted most of the time.

your demographic doesn't matter.

Google a bunch of websites in the niche of the product, look on page 2-3 and add those URLs to your account. No verification is required that you own the site :D

As others have mentioned call or email the reps and smooth talk them.

Won't they ever check to make sure it's yours ??
