How to get cheap flights

Booking in advance is the way to go. I snagged tickets for $500 that normally go for double. Now it's going to be overpriced.

Faking you are a pilot for another company and you want a ride to a certain place(They take you free as a guest something like that)
Have a friend that is a Flight attendant and you can get really low tickets from customers that didn't show up for the flight

That's pretty much the best ways.
My EX worked for Westjet, was able to fly across Canada, Vancouver to Toronto (on standby) for $7.50 this was a few years ago, but totally legit if you know someone in the industry. Going to be hard to find open seats at this time of year though.

We flew to the USA on Christmas Day last year, the prices were cheap.
Couple of years before we came back from Koh Samui, had a couple of days back in Dubai, then again flew back on Christmas Day. Think there were about 30 of us on the plane.

Using a VPN will help as well, but your bank may freak out over a purchase coming from a foreign IP.
