How to get backlinks from real relevant sites?

Guest blogging is a good way to do this... Or find older content with broken links and if you have a similar piece of content then you can notify the site and have them update the link with yours

Like the other say, you can buy the majority of links.

However, there really are bloggers who won't trade links for money. These are the passionate ones with the 'real' niche sites. The way to get link from these guys is to build a relationship. Actually go read their blogposts, make real comments. Don't drop a link in the comment. But after a few comments and sometime passing, send them an email along the lines of:

Hi [blogowner]

I'm [name], who commented on your blog. I have to say, I am really enjoying your blog [or some other compliment].

I own a similar blog [blogname], and I was wondering if I can provide you with a interesting article to post on your blog.

Would you prefer [title1] or [title2]?

Seriously don't copy my example email word for word or you'll ruin for all of us.
