How to get backlink from my own site?

I have saw lot of sites got more than 10-12 links form own site. E.G abc.com site got more than 10 links from internal pages. What they have done??

Do you happen to mean onpage seo - internal/inner links?

In an article, put some contextual links and poof, you have some links! It's not really anything but retains visitors to read more through inner links.
