    Hi BHW,

I want a section under my site to have an auto-updated and published content on the latest news that is going on. Anyone know of any techniques to get auto-generated news for your site?

E.g: Let's say I got a car accident information website and I want the latest car accident news under my "news" section on my site.

Anyone know how to do this?

You have to use some autoblogging software like Wp Robot.

If you are using a wordpress site then you can use the wp robot. Or you can do manually by doing web development.

WPRobot can easily do this. Find websites about whatever topic and then get their RSS feed. Configure WPRobot on how it should post on your site (formatting, frequency, etc.) and you're good!

I haven't used this anymore since I do not have anymore autoblogs but I think it should still be working isn't it?

Go create a custom Google News (URL below) thingy with your keywords and from the output page, look at the bottom of the page and get the link from the RSS.

    Code:
    https://news.google.com/news/directory/createsection

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see a RSS option.

I think he is actually just asking for an RSS feed? A lot of premium themes have this ability built in. Genesis comes to mind

    Home Page:
    Scrape and spin content.

You can use other plugins but if you are going after something generic like news I would do it yourself to prevent your site from having the exact same content as other "news" autoblogs using the same plugin.

I usually do it by scraping Google Blog Search.

I like the scrape idea. Rss seems like would be a good option too.

After creating this thread last month,
Finally I found something that works & easy to implement.

    Step 1
Go to https://news.google.com/news/directory/createsection (Thanks to villain)

    Step 2
Enter all the details. (Most important here is your niche's keyword/s)

    Step 3
Find the title of the RSS feed you entered at the left-hand side bar.

    Step 4

Scroll all the way down and click on "RSS"

    Step 5
    Copy the URL

    Step 6
    Install the plugin "Syndicate Press"

    Step 7
Go to Syndicate press settings & under RSS feeds, paste the URL of your RSS feed that you copied.

    Step 8
Create a page & paste [sp# feedList=all] onto the page

and you're done ! as easy as that.
