I have not done Some of these myself. I have been working on a Reddit journey and have been researching this topic and some I have been successful and some I haven't tested.

One of the biggest problems that I have faced is trying to get around Mods, Admins and what I call Gatekeepers. These are the people that run whatever community you want to use. These people usually won't allow you to put any links up in their communities. I have found some work arounds for these gatekeepers from pretty basic, to really complex.

METHOD 1 - Wait to place the link.

This is the most basic way you can get around a gatekeeper in just about any community. You make a highly valuable post, (I personally did AMA's). Don't put your link in at this point. Start answering questions and then after a comfortable amount of time, edit your post and put your link in. (I was trying to get members into my group). Eventually the mods will detect this and either take down the post, remove the link or ban you from the group.

METHOD 2 - Ask nicely.

I know this is so stupid but I have gotten some really good responses by just straight out dropping an ask on a gatekeeper. Its always better if you have some sort of bribe, or help them out before asking. If you can find a problem they are having within the group, you can solve the problem for them and then wait a few days and hit them up with asking them to let you post your link. Money almost always works lol

METHOD 3 - Get the Gatekeeper to do it for you.

Sometimes mods and admins are afraid to let people post a link because if one person does it, they all do it. I have had some luck with just giving the mod the content and asking for them to post it to their group. You can set up a really value driven post on Medium or even on the same platform you are trying to work from like Reddit. You can have your link in that post and I have had mods approve that.

METHOD 4 - Cloaking (Difficult and not beginner friendly)

This method just screams "F*ck you" to the Mods. It is very tricky though and you need some tools and understanding of cloaking. This is a more advanced method. This method I have not tried as its not my area of expertise.

You will need a cloaker for this method. There are other tools that would be helpful depending on what way you would do this.

You first have to get the IP addresses of the gatekeepers. You can do this by sending them a cloaked link to something you think they will click on. They will see whatever you want them to see but you'll see their ip address from something like www . whatsmyip . com. There are several ways that you can get their IP but you are going to need it.

once you have their IP address you can Cloak a link that shows the mods an article from a really established website in your niche. The cloaked link sends everyone else to where you want them to go. You an also say something like "what's your take on this subreddit " and the mods see "askreddit" but everyone else sees your cloaked subreddit.

You are going to get caught doing this eventually. Its only a matter of time. I wouldn't do this from an account you value. I would also take down the post after a bit of time to protect your domain and not get it blacklisted.

I've made partnerships with some fb group admins so that I can distribute content on the platform.
Imagine a power like that!

with the forth method I think it has big flaws that in almost all big subreddit the mods will straight up suspend your post if it contains a link. So it's pointless cloaking it because it'll get filtered anyways

I think it’s the easiest to do. Get the admins to circulate your content for you.

I’ll have to respectfully disagree with you. Some niches on Reddit will do what you are saying but it’s not the whole of Reddit. I’ve been able to post links to some pretty big subreddits.
