How to get an expired domain

I hope this is the right section, sorry if it isn't.
So, I want to buy a website that had expired in November 2010. I read on some sites that after 75 days from expiration the site should be "free of owner" so I could buy it as a normal site. This one it's not, I still can't buy it. On the whois page at status is: Pending_Delete.
What can I do to buy it? I don't want to invest too much money in it because it's not a big site, I buy it as a possible future plan.

For expired domain listings, I always used the software called "Reigstercompass" It searches multiple registrars and finds the expired expiring and/or auctions for virtually every domain on the market. Yours most likely is listed in there and whether it is actually available or not. I do not own register compass, nor do I have an affiliate link, just a happy client.

Yeah, Register Compass is good, also try FreshDrop and DomainFace
