Is this possible? Starting up a small biz and having trouble finding a cheap location that would meet the qualifications.

Accept the postcard at your home address, remove the address from gmb

I thought you can't verify a home address?
That's how I got gmb for my agency but it was a while ago, not sure if still works or not... Last year also had client that terrorized me into creating gmb for them and google didn't even sent a postcard to an address and it still got verified lol

It's the best recommendation for this case
Although I think you meant hide the address, not remove it
So, it's better hiding it instead of leaving it publicly available

Also depends on his category. Certain GMB categories require the address to be shown and vice versa

Removing the address will trigger reverification
I have it set up as business that drives to you rather than accepting clients at the office and my address isn't visible on my gmb. Sorry, maybe 'remove' wasn't the best word...

Submit Business directories as much as you can then after 1 month try to submit GMB then your listing will be verify.. .
or
Video Verification is best method to verify listing if you are running a legimat business.

Generally how I create GMBs

Add your NAP in website footer & header across the site.
Buy local citations off fiverr
Post your NAP & website on FB page, twitter, instagram, reddit, Quora (Social Media Posts that index on google)

Wait for all this process to google. Search your NAP in google see whats showing.

*Choose service base business if it is. (no address) when creating new gmb
for address find one online that's in process being sold on market.

Never once asked for video verify or mail postcard. Created about 5-6 profiles so far.

What categories? This likely wont work for highly competitive cats (spammy)

Could you clarify how to find an online address? Where can I find it, and what criteria should I use to choose one?
Thanks in advance. I am creating my first Rank & Rent (R&R) site and am not sure what address to choose (Virtual, UPS store, etc). I am working in the locksmith niche, based in the US.

You have to find a reliable provider. 99% of people here are not able to deliver GMB... don´t trust them

Generally use any home address. Make sure tell the person giving the local citations skip over the send direct mail citation

Yes, it's possible! Consider options like co-working spaces, shared retail spaces, or even starting online to reduce overhead while you build your business

To get a verified Google My Business (GMB) account without a physical location, consider using a service area business model and choose a relevant service area. You can also use a virtual office or co-working space address, but ensure it complies with Google’s guidelines.
