How To Get A Twitter Backlink ?

I'm just curious, I've had my url on my twitter account as my website, but I never received a backlink from twitter.

I've seen people with twitter backlinks (according to alexa), so the question is how do you get a twitter backlink ?

I have a few and all are showing up, dew something with that acount, make coments with it send some SB toards it, send tweets, be active and it will get index

my account has 4000+ real tweets!

My twitter account updates 4 times a day and havent been visible as a link so far, perhaps its time to send a sb blast towards it to se what happens
 
Alexa counts only those backlinks which originate from pages visited by person with Alexa toolbar installed.
So install Alexa toolbar and visit your twitter page, its that easy.
 
Nice tip with the Alexa toolbar. I would not have thought of that one. I will start using that toolbar trick for more of my sites.
 
Why not just ping and backlink individual twitter posts? Obviously the crawlers aren't seen your Twitter feed as relevant or "need to know" for them to crawl it. Give you tweet a little link juice and you'll have to bots crawling them in no time.
 
You need to be patient and make some valuable posts in twitter you will surely get back link.
 
Get one good link to your twitter and it should be indexed.
 
you have to twit regularly. Don't think that all of them will be indexed. Some of the twits will be indexed by Google.
 
greetings - can you please let me know anyone has been able to get a backlink from twitter in the last 2 years? We have a company twitter account that is over 3 years old. have been sending a twit on average once a month. still nothing in google webmaster tools.

over the last 3 weeks, I have been blasting this twitter account with GSA and URL shortners, but still nothing.

any suggestions?

yea way to bump a dead useless post.

twitter links don't tend to show on WMT, try putting your url in your twitter profile, but I doubt that will help.
