So... I was in some bullshit marketing skype group, which I thought was genuine.. having looking back on it now, I'm sure it's a scam group NOT a skype group.

Anyways, on this particular skype group, a lot of "members" where raving about this guys PBN. Each member was really bigging it up.. I was lurking.. so i thought, this must be good.. so I decided to make an order!

Anyways! the seller sends me report, and guess what! it's not a PBN at all..

It's 1 x PBN link on a shitty PBN site.. that he is charging $70 for!

I just about fell of my seat, when I saw the report was for 1 x PBN link..

The seller was very mis-leading. Not only where the people in the skype group his shills. He now wont give me a refund..

He has also done this too another guy who joined the group, and we've been talking..

In his mini listing advertisement, it says 70 PBN NETWORK - English is not his first language, so his listing was a bit broken english.. He makes it look like, and advertises that your getting a 70 PBN link.. however, he will only deliver you 1 link.

I told the seller, the listing of his title is very mis leading.. it says 70 PBN Network.

Furthermore, in his listing, in the first paragraph, it says you will get a link too ALL the sites..

He now seems to find it funny, and saying I wont be getting a refund..

This really is shocking, what's the best way to go about getting me $70 back.. because am I hell paying $70 for utter junk.. i wouldn't have even payed him $5 for the link, if he had showing me prior to purchasing, it's that bad. The content is also spun too..I

What's even worse, is that my website was in 22nd Place in Google.. I have no money.. I am barely surviving at the moment, and trying my hardest to get through each day. I really can't believe this guy is just openly scamming people for $70 for 1 pbn link..

You can start a dispute in Paypal. Then explain that there was misleading advertising and seller didn't provide what was promised. It's fairly easy to get a refund that way.

Worst idea ever, it's like scamming the scammer back.. it's better to open a dispute and explain what happened there.

    Ask him for refund.

If he doesn't want to refund your order then tell him that you will open a PayPal dispute and if you do that then the PayPal algorithm will hurt his account and maybe in the future PayPal will limit his account forever. No PayPal = bye online business.

If he's smart he will refund you the order.

How did you send the money to the seller and do they sell here? If so you can open a shitlist.

This is what is so wrong with these ' private ' Skype groups, as they aren't covered by the protection of a forum.
Can you open a shitlist for a service you didn't buy from here ( even if the same seller sells on here ) ?
This is why people encourage members to join these groups, as they are easier to scam buyers away from the forum.

If you open a dispute on Paypal, then message the seller and if no joy, escalate it to a claim and see if they find in your favour.

As the other said open a dispute but what you expect for this price, even if it's real 70 PBN links for $70 can't be good at all

You should first try to solve it with the provider. If nothing works out, then the last resort is pressing ahead with a PayPal dispute.

Nope, he'd just try to get away with excuses and empty promises till the deadline to file a dispute is over. Dispute first, so the guy knows he has a narrow timeframe to refund till you escalate it.

For a simple misunderstanding, trying to solve the problem with the provider is perfectly fine, but this one doesn't smell like scam, it stinks. Act first, then start talking, that's the only language scammers understand. Since most are looking for easy victims and want to continue their ugly game without too much trouble, they'll cop out if they discover resistance.

if you think this guy is a scammer, you should immediately open paypal dispute, this is to avoid him to withdraw all the fund from his account

if he is quite establish seller, at this point you should negotiate for the refund else he might get risk of his paypal account getting suspend if you made a report, and hopefully he will refund your money

Also remember to keep screenshots of all your chats and document everything. PayPal is biased towards the buyers, normally in this situation, with digital and intangible goods the buyer wins.

He is not answering my messages anymore. So, I guess the only thing left to do is opening a PayPal dispute. I hope that this will work.
    Thanks for the feedback!

Luckily for you, it will work. PayPal is ALWAYS on the buyers side when it comes to online services. Seller simply can't prove you wrong, PayPal just doesn't care.

Thanks for the reassuring feedback. I'm now waiting for a positive response from the seller.
